Talking about Internationalize Kendo from Korea (from Kendoworld issue 4.1), it is very interesting to understand that Korea trying to steer away from Japanophile. However, I do not agree with the way it is. Trying to modify uniform (to me) is not important at all. It even wants to take to Koshita out of Hakama is a joke. From what I see the Korean team performance and reading about Master from Korea (KW Mag.), I believe the majority of Korean Kendoka (Kumdo) didn't care much about the modification.
