Hey guys and girls..

well this is kinda like shamless advertising, but yeah..

I've just chucked up a Java ChatRoom on our club website... and I really hope all kendo Clubs / Dojos/ Websites can use the chatroom scripts and link it to the same channel.

This way, I'm hoping that everyone around the world whos interested in Kendo can come login and chat with others.. instead of posting messages from time to time.

Of course, it will take alot of Collective Effort to set this up.. and get it running smoothly.

If you want to try it out.. goto www.usydkendo.com (http://www.usydkendo.com) and click on ChatRoom.
(You will need to have Java VM installed for your browser of course.)

Personally I don't like java chats, is there any way to access it from an irc client such as mIRC or xchat?

Java client says the room is #www.usydkendo.com -> /j #www.usydkendo.com I would say^^

well.. I'm still trying to polish the thing.. might look better.. depending on the scripting and how it goes..

i'm currently using the freejavachat.com network.. dunno which ones they have.

yes it is IRC based.... so everyone with mIRC can access it too..

I've been in the chat room for a few times since it started but has not seen anyone there. Not sure is it because it is not working for me or just that I'm signing in the wrong time. :D
