new shinai

I was woundering if someone could give me an idea on what type of shinai to buy.I 've been doing kendo for 2 years now and I want to move up a noch on my shinai or at least have one good one for compitition what do you think??

Let's see. I would advise purchasing a dobari type shinai. The weight on it is more closer towards the handle and feels a bit lighter too. Chokuto style shinais are more for 'one hit' style players.
