I bought this as my gift from me to me with all my love (lol) for my 28th birthday. Is handmade by a kenshi of my dojo.

Btw, I also loved your other Japanese dolls. Very pretty! I collect dolls too. Not just Japanese ones though. I've got all kinds of them. Did you name yours? Silly, I know, but I feel all mine need to have names. Makes them happy. ;)

Yes, the Maiko's name is Kaoru and the Geisha one is Tomoe, my kendoka's name is Kenshin (yeah I know too much rurouni Kenshin, but Kenshin is my fave Japanse name)

hahahaha, Don't worry, I was in love with everything Kenshin when I first got my hands on the anime like, 5-6 years ago. I guess you can guess that's where my username came from. :D I think it's cool to name dolls after something you like. The Maiko is the one in red, right? I agree with you. Those dolls look just like their names! I think Kenshin is a pretty name too. :)

I like the anime and manga too. But, my favorite are the Samurai X OVA's. Very nice artwork and excellent story and music.

For me is all the Tomoe/Enishi saga, shame we didn't see that on the anime, cos it was even better than Shishio, even thou e saw a lil bit on Memories, great OVA, sad, sad ending I cried for hours after that :confused2
