Reviews of the Aoi FD-4 Bogu Set

Greetings,

I'm currently shopping for a bogu set. The Budo-Aoi website has really caught my attention as the bogus are reasonably priced and seem to be well-made. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone who owns an Aoi set, so now, I'm searching for reviews.

Currently, I'm most interested in the FD-4 set. I would rank myself at a beginner/intermediate level.

I purchased the FD3 set about a year and a half a ago. Definitely one of the best companies in Canada that supplies bogu at good price and great quality.

I had a lot of questions and AOI's staff spent a lot of time via email and phone answering my questions. When my bogu came in and I brought it to the dojo many members were impressed by quality and price I paid.

ive an aoi f3 set and it is absolutely great.

this is a year and a half into it and its still great and i couldnt recommend them more.

I have AOI and it seems nice (I am relatively new to Kendo, so I do not think I am knowledgable in any way to say if it is great or not and because I have had no other bogu to compare it to).

Their prices did jump though, after Koei changed their pricing/ordering .... That said, it seems to be well made and the price seems quite comparable.

Shipping was super fast too - contact them if they don't seem to have your exact size listed as for my kote the size was not on the web page but they have them in stock - the page was not updated yet. I got the in-stock bogu as they had my sizes.

Hmm, looking at it now online it seems as if the prices have dropped from when I ordered last year ...
