Have anyone bought bogu from E-kendo.com?

Hi does anyone knows anything about the online kendo shop e-kendo.com.
like to enquire whether the bogu quality are recommended for an adult who just started training in kendo?

yes. i bought bogu from them couple years ago (3mm machine), they had really really good discount, and i gave them (and to me) a chance. service was good, hilarious and funny (english they speak is absolutely fabulous, it always got me to good mood), and package arrived very fast. after 2 years i still have no complaints about bogu, so thumbs up, it is good "everyday training" stuff.
however, i leave door open and bridge unburn, and remind you that i dealed with them couple years ago :P

I have a bogu from e-kendo, it has about 6 years of continous beatings , some parts are a bit teared like the kote palm.... but it still in great shape, it looks that itll last may more years. good stuff.

I bought the custom 2.5mm bogu from E-kendo. I upgraded the kote to all deer 2.0 kote (40 USD) and the Men to all black (for free). The bogu took about 7 weeks to be made and 4 days to get to my house, so it was a two month wait. When the bogu arived it looked great and it looked better than what I could imagine, but it was 1 size too small. So I E-mail E-kendo again to see if they would exchange it for me, and they told me to send back anything that doesnt fit and to send them my correct measurements by email and that they would send me a new one. I sent it all back, sent my measurements (had sensei help this time) and waited another three weeks because they did not have XL tare available at the moment. When I got my bogu again It looked even better and it now fits me perfectly. And what is a given bonus, he upgraded my bogu to 2.00mm for free! (confirmed it with my senpai). The service was great, my emails were answerd promptly, and the price for a 2.5mm bogu was great too (650 USD, including the time I had to send it back). I also got a bogu bag, himos, tengui AND do rings for free, so it was a good deal. E-kendo is great and if your thinking about buying from them, I highly recommend. Since Ive had the bogu for only a couple of weeks, I cant say it will last me years (it probably will, and it could even go for a decade if taken care of properly) but so far its holding up quite nicely.

I suggest if you want a kote ugrade to all deer leather you email him and ask. He will probably say sure and add the upgrade button to the bogu you choose (be it 5,4,3 or any type of bogu). The black mengane upgrade option is also free, but you have to ask! and if you buy custom made bogu (most of it is custom) you can also pic the DO color! so if you want blue, green, red, or any type of color, just pick it when you buy! they have like 20 color selections which are free, and like 10 which are like 50 bucks. Again, if they dont have a color you want, just e-mail them and they might be able to get you that color. Infact, Email them before you buy with any questions or if you want a certain type of change made to the bogu. They are extremely helpful and will help you anyway they can. Ill post up pics of my bogu shortly, ill just put up a link.

I bought shinais from E-Kendo, my Bogu I purchased from E-Bogu, who I can highly recommend, excellent quality, price, and service.

We get many of our 'workhorse' bogu from them .. mainly the 4mm set, since it offers a good price/performace.
The 3mm is generally a bit nicer and better workmanship, but pretty much the same protection wise.

They're not really bad, but correct sizing seems to be an issue every now and then and the delivery is slow (well, it can take as little as 2-4 weeks, but also 2-4 month is not uncommon, which is a bit disappointing if you order large quantities).
For the price, it's ok though and will last you some years.
