returning rep

Hi, appreciate you are tied to how the forum software works,
and reputation is linked to a particular post,
but is there any easy way to return rep to someone?
or have I missed something?

Find a post they've made you like, and give them reputation on that. The system limits how often you can give reputation to any one user.

That's what I have been doing,
I thought it would be good/intuitive to be able to do it from their profile too,
and thought I might have missed how to do that.

It's a little pain in the arse sometimes, James-san. Luckily we can give "honorary" (and still very good, at least in OUR minds :laugh:) +Rep to those posts that happen to be caught in the Catch-22.
