I'm noticing random thread disappearance. They aren't getting moved. What is causing this phenomenon? Quantum noise? Server misconfiguration?

Its not random. When a post has nothing to contribute to the discussion at hand, particularly if it is abusive or just plain stupid, it gets binned.
