I was party to a discussion the other day where I had heard mention that the ZNKR or FIK or AUSKF was in discussions with recognizing ranks issued by the WKA (I believe KKA ranks are recognized, but are those for only KKA USA issued rankings?).

Is there anywhere where I can read more about this?

KKA (all KKA, including the KKA USA [or now WKF]) ranks are recongized by the FIK and AUSKF, but WKA ranks arent since they are not FIK.

Right, I had heard the head of the SEUSKF mentioning a couple weeks ago after his visit, something about the WKA ranks being recognized sometime soon. I was trying to find some more information related to that.

Weren't they on the same 'level' (for lack of a better term) as the regional federations? I thought I saw people competing on behalf of the WKF in Las Vegas.

it's the new Western Kumdo Federation. The KKA USA dojangs were accepted by the AUSKF and they changed their name to WKF

Phew! I assumed it stood for "World Kumdo Federation" and so I thought, "WTF?"

Sorry. Couldn't resist.
