Hi everyone

I need to get a second pair of kote for my current training frequency, so I checked e-bogu this morning and found these two variantes:

***Limited*** Master Quality "YAKKO STYLE" Hand-stitched Kote
http://www.e-bogu.com/Orizashi_1_5_Bu_Hand_Stitched_Kote_p/ank-ken-bog-15ori-yak.htm

Master Quality Orizashi 1.5 Bu Hand Stitched Kote
http://www.e-bogu.com/Orizashi_1_5_Bu_Hand_Stitched_Kote_p/ank-ken-bog-15kote-ori.htm

I don't really get the difference between those - they have the same price, look pretty similar and both are made with Shoaizome #10,000 Fabric and deer leather. So, what's the difference between the regular Orizashi kote and the Yakko Style ones? Can someone help out?

Cheers

The hand stitch has a full deerskin head. Yakko is a cloth head with a leather patch where your tsuba rubs.

Read the reviews or lack there of them on the site....

Just to add to what kagerousan's post, The Yakko kote probably are a little lighter in weight since there is less leather being used.

And a super-lightweight men (http://www.e-bogu.com/SUPER_LIGHT_WEIGHT_Men_Black_p/woo-ken-bog-tq4lwmen-bl.htm) to go with them, yummy!
