SNL icon Mr. Bill who seems to be making a comeback via commercials apparently learns karate and gets stuck in some kendoka practicing at 1:50

That's Sluggo, Mr. Bill's arch nemesis.
Or in this case, Sruggo.

The keikogi was worn right over left. In Buddhist society this is only done for the dead. I would say maybe that's a subtle joke but then Sluggo is wearing it the same way.

Erm,
You do realize that they're just dolls made of Play-doh, yes?
I mean, they're quite delicious with the right sauce and all that -so...I...understand,
~but still, just salt, oil, flour; and a smidgen of Nepalese Heroin after all.
Not sure the depth is really there.

Depth? "The Zen of Mr. Bill" by SNL Publications ran out of content at half a paragraph so they settled for visual slapstick instead.

Yes, of course.
I would have thought though that perhaps people would like to know about cultural cues (intentional or not). I was not meaning to take Mr. Bill seriously but it's ok to point this out even for Mr. Bill is it not?
Forget it, I don't want to get into stupid flames over Mr. Bill.
