I checked out the website and looked at the pictures and couldn't help but laugh for some reason. It seems stupid but I read more about it, it's just a bunch of people playing a game. They aren't allowed to hit hard, or the head, it seems like a childish game actually. But I guess it MIGHT be good for kendo, maybe some people watching might instead want to take it. But since they are not allowed to hit hard, so as not to harm anyone, it's not training for anything. It could be regarded as tag with shinai's and points. But it might be fun to go there to just fight, though kendo people should hold back, otherwise someone will get knocked out with a men hit.
Why dont' these people take European sword arts or something? Oh well, it must be fun if some of them have done it for 10 years.

The are a different group that Shiro assumed I was referring to (Shiro also supplied the link... therefore, blame Shiro!).

Naturally, you will be giving your "hit" to a DIFFERENT ubsurd group than the Christian site. I'm sure this "Shinai" group will be amazed they got any notice at all.

Their local SCA probably beats them up... regularly. :dead:
