advice needed for buying bogu

Hello. I need some advice in buying bogu. My budget is about 300-500 and i am a beginner. Should i go for the 4mm one which is about $300+ or the 3mm one which is $400+? Does expensive bogu last longer?

I think 4mm or 5mm is enough for beginner.If u have much money ,u may buy 3mm bogu.:-)
I use 5mm bogu RMB3500 nearly $400.I think it's good

If I'm going to recommend you I would recommend GZ-17 from bogubgag (5mm machine stitch including bogu bag, zenken and postage cost for$350) or may be 2.5 mm machine stitch from korea like from sehyun or e-kendo, the bogu price with postage should be about $500.

But I would recommend you to talk with other people and look at the other threads in this forum first.
For the comment about 5mm machine stitch bogu made in Japan, I did wear Japanese 5mm machine stitch bogu before which compare to 2mm machine stitch bogu from korea which I use now, I want to say that the protection from both bogu are not much different. ( it means good protection from both)
