Hello,
I`m looking to make sort of a come back to Kendo, I used to pratice in Sao Paulo,Brasil in mid 80`s,still after all these years of no pratice I`m beginner again.
I had a friend in high school from Japan and he introduced me to it.
Now I`m a lot older but I feel that I need to come back to the old path.
Looking for a Dojo in Westchester,NY and I`m listening to any recomendations.
Thanks for any input.

There was someone here called scbang (no longer posts I think) that practiced in Westchester. He said he was from Kyudokan Dojo.
That's all the info I have I'm afraid.

Wow someone still remembers that old guy :-)
There are a few dojos in Westchester - Kyudokan is in Scarsdale ( Also in Crestkill NJ - same school - one fee ). One in Pleasantville is run by Dan Chapman ( Yu Shin Kan ). Some guys were practicing at Yorktown but don't know they're still there.. There is another one in Scarsdale run by people used to be part of Kyudokan.
If you want more choice and you don't mind driving 30-40 miles, there are many many Japanese and Korean dojos in Mahattan, NJ and Flushing..
Post here if you want direction or phone number.

I just joined the Forum here and was looking for a dojo to at least speak to the Master there.
If anyone gets the info I would SO appreciate it.
As my title says, I'm so much a newbie that I don't own anything yet. I was driven to start searching after reading Musashi and from being a long-time fan of Eric Lustbader (forgive the spellings).
