Really? Groovey! He comes from a very long line of famous samurai then. I believe Oda Nobunaga himself claimed he was descendant from the Taira family.

I thought the same thing....It's funny but a lot of the big families have become business families. One of my students is a Takeda (from the younger sons line) and she says her husbands company is full of the decendents of famous Samurai families. She says they joke around about who killed off who's ancestors. Bit twisted.

Don't know squat about warlords (apart from the dude that was in WWF in the 90s) nor skating... but that was pretty cool; both the trivia and the performance.

Notice the commentators said he has good knees? Proof that he has no interest in sword stuff ;)

If you go to the World Museum Liverpool (http://www.liverpoolmuseums.org.uk/wml/treasurehousetheatre/) they have a display of Samurai Armour (suitable for 8s and over) - demonstrating replica 16th century Japanese Samurai armour, where a lucky volunteer gets to become Lord Oda and help them demonstrate this amazing armour. I've been twice and the second time did actually try to be the volunteer but was unlucky. It's a fun and interesting event and free to boot!
