Volcano high!

There's this South Korean martial arts movie called Volcano High (Whasango) that's going to be shown on MTV on December 21st at 9pm. There's a pretty female character that is the captain of the kendo team. I think her name is Jade. Anyway, I've been trying to get a hold of this movie for a year but was unsuccessful. At least I'm going to get to watch it this time, but it won't be in Korean. My question to those that've seen it is what did you think about the movie?

OHHh then It'll be even worse dubbed in English O_O. That movie reminds me of anime like Real Bout High school and Dragonball Z. Could you tell me more about what you didn't like about it?

The gals are like thugs in their blood red gi-hakama. heh. The movie's not meant to be taken seriously...I think they're more geared towards ESP cloaked in martial arts guise. I watched the vcd with a couple of my friends and we kept forwarding coz it was pretty boring...and they kept asking me if kendo was really like that as in the movie. hahahaha....it was irritating to say the least. But the show is still worth a good laugh I guess. It’s a comedy after all. Just don’t have too high expectations for it. :D

I can't say much about the movie except hip-hop and R&B stars dubbed the movie. It explains why Volcano High is going to be on MTV this Sunday ^_^. Andre 3000 from Outkast is the voice of the main character, and Mya is the voice of Jade. I saw a commercial of it and Volcano high looks pretty tyte, but it's just a commercial =/. Maybe the movie is boring. I won't know until I see it for myself when it shows this Sunday night at 9.

I don't expect to see kendo done properly in movies, and it'll be entertaining to see what the kendo scenes will look like in Volcano High ^_^. I'm going to enjoy the fight scenes as it is :happy: . The movie's is probably just eye-candy.

well i watched it it all i haveto say is..... God I hate you MTV and everyone who was dubbing it. Really that was horrible i saw the movie in an Anime convention and i loved it i was happy to see in on MTV. But after i saw it i sorta wanna to smash my skateboard into TV. Horrible o well thats MTV for yah.... First they stop playing videos, Take off Daria, NOW THEY Kill a decent movie bah well could be worst they could take over g4 and Fuse.

when they dubbed it they messed up the storyline a little...they left out the secret manuscript entirely...

I've seen the movie and I liked it pretty much, it's kind of manga like but all real (well I mean not on paper ) the action is a bit too much sometime but if you are fan of japanese, chinese or any asian action movie you should be use to it and the special efect are mad
