Nagamaki?

Is the Nagamaki still alive?
I mean, is there any kind of traditional training or school of that weapon? I'm not sure but I think I saw a pic of it in kenshi's (or was it vikingx?) portfolio.

I don't recall seeing any embu with nagamaki involved so I probably don't have any photo's.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Araki-ryu and Buko-ryu both have some nagamaki in their curriculum.

I think this is the pic you were talking about.

As I said in the commentaries, never had the opportunity to train that particular weapon, but I feel fascinated by it. Why? Good question.
