Is the kendoka who join the match use light shinai?
How can I get light shinai?

I guess you can get lighter shinai in almost every bogu-shop. But it's not always the weight that matters. There are different shaped shinai. they will give you some advantages. check out shinai shapes and weight at www.eurobogu.net (http://www.eurobogu.net)

I think there are regulations on the minimum weight of shinai. You'd better check before buying if you want to use the shinai in competition.
