Hi there! I'm in need of some advice when it comes to good martial arts films. All suggestions welcome and appreciated! Thank you.

P.S. does anyone know what movies the scenes in this video are from? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8Y3piodWes[/url]

Try this thread (http://www.kendo-world.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2827&) or that thread (http://www.kendo-world.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7533) or this one (http://www.kendo-world.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10253&) or maybe this other one (http://www.kendo-world.com/forum/showthread.php?t=219&).

My old eyes would also appreciate less purple prose (literally).

Awesome!!!
As you will see from my avatar I a bit of a fan! Without doubt one of the corniest but coolest films of all time.

Did you know they planning a remake, with Samuel L Jackson playing Shonuff!!!

I'm also a big fan of Jackie Chan, mainly his old stuff like Police Story, wheels on meals, drunken master and armour of god!!!

As far as the thread goes, lately I'm a big Yoji Yamada fan. Twilight Samurai and Hidden Blade are great samurai films, although the first in particular is too low on action to qualify as a "martial arts movie."

For the more action-oriented, I really enjoyed Fighter in the Wind.
