My tsuba seems to slip in keiko (but not during basic training) - at first I wondered if it was because my partner kept hitting it, but now not so sure. I even tried swapping my tsubas on my shinais, but it didn't make a difference. Does anyone else have this problem?

Try different/new tsubadome. Especially if they are old, rubber tsubadome mechanical characteristics deteriorates...

Order one of these:

They are by far the best tsuba dome you can get.

It could also be your tsuka is too long, so there's too much gap between your tsuka and your right hand.

I use this tsuba done http://www.e-bogu.com/Fudo_Tsuba_Dome_p/hir-ken-shi-fudo-.htm and I have not had any problems with slipping. It fits nice and tight and holds up really well!

Hey, thanks for the link, you guys! I had that problem for a while now. I even have a loose tsuba on my bokken. Sonofagun rattles worse than a rattlesnake at times...
