Hello ,
I am new to Kendo/Naginata and I am looking for a club/school to train at. I live in Northern Virginia and was interested in knowing if anyone had any experiences with the NOVA Budokai. It is the closest one to me and offers both Kendo and Naginata. I have emailed the club director but have not had any response. Thanks for any info.

Sorry for the lapse, but the maintenance of the site and the e-mail is passing to another person.

I assume that you have seen the website at http://www.geocities.com/nvbudokai/.

Currently Kendo and Naginata practices are being held only at the Cherrydale Volunteer Fire Department Dance Hall in Arlington. VA.

Practices at the Johnson Center Dance Studio at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, are suspended until we renegotiate new days and time for when the University reopens for the Spring term in about two weeks.

We do not stand on ceremony -- please drop in and visit the classes.

I'll be at Naginata tonight (I am the assistant instructor and an officer of NoVA Budokai [Exec. VP]).

Send a PM if you have more questions.
HTH,
