not sure this is the right place for this but anyway

went to a seminar about 4.5 hours drive away
one new guy from the dojo offered to drive
Great I say but I would need to be picked up from work(very busy at the moment)
No worries he says
but then I discovered one slight problem
His taste in music!!!
it was evil
Celin Dion 80's pop classic Steps!!!!!!!
and that was just the stuff I could name
when we got to the city and after the jikekio that evening the rest of the kendoka told I was "abit on edge" or "a touch over aggerssive"
I was ready to kill
it took about 5 pints in the bar afterwards to calm me down

What do you do? I needed the lift and will be in need of a lift again in the future but I can't stand the music

My deepest sympathies, nollaig, for you during your road trip from hell and your aitei during that kendo practise. Now someone knows how I feel after having to put up with Rage Against the Machine on freakin' road trips! Raawrrgghh!
