Sorry if any of this is wrong but as far as I know he holds nanadan and is currently the Ladies Kendo coach for Nittaidai university. He's also the Technical Director for the Andorran Kendo Association.

He's the third in a line of kendoka based in the Shodokan (http://shodokan.ftw.jp/index.html) dojo in Tokyo. His grandfather being the first and an instructor for the Imperial Guard and Tokyo Police.

Hi,

I've met Okada morimasa sensei at several seminar. He is not the most cheerfull guy I know but he's strong no doubt about it.

A typical one week seminar is tough on your body:
- asa geiko before breakfast
- 3h of technical seminar then ji-geiko before the meal
- 4h of hard work
And that's for 6 days with a competition the last day and don't forget the haya suburi marathon.

It may varies but he usually comes with other sensei (japanese hachidan or european nanadan ) and youngsters from his dojo or the nittaidai. I really like his kendo, not really the kind you will see in shiai but beautiful. One of the tricks he love to use is to strike several do in a row ( I've seen a godan striked by 7 alternate do cut while trying to go for one men).

Attending one of his seminar is a great chance

Bye
