Okay, I am sitting here and I am really hungry(chyo Harahetap!). Its late and I have a craving for some japanese food.
So what is your favourite japanese dish?
I'll start off with a light starter, a delicious Dobin Moshi!
Dobin Moshi=teapot soup. Is a yummy light clear made of fish, chicken, prawns, etc. Its served in a teapot and you sip it in a teacup. I know it sounds wierd but...mmmm...its delicious.

I have only tried sushi...it goes to show how uncultured i am. However, I am willing to try something if you can suggest a few dishes for me that are worth trying.

katsudon (that's not tonkatsu don, it's tonkatsu Udon)
any type of udon actually
cheese age
cheese katsu
good, handmade soba (the rest of it is cruddy)
yakisoba
harumaki (with cheese)
Vegetable tempura (i hate seafood, if you like it, hey have my giant shrimp, you can even look deep into his beady little eyes and have a conversation)
that weird and wonderful inaka stew with little quail eggs, potatoes and vegetables (that stuff is the bomb)
tsukemono (japanese pickles, but don't eat the pink ones... gross)
yakitori (chicken hearts are the best, and make sure you stipulate that you want to sauce)
Shu mai
GYU TAN (A cow's tongue never tastes so good)
Cow tail soup (no idea what it's called in Japanese, but it's great)
Japanese curry (pokemon curry is fantastic, it even comes with little wall hanging things)
i think that's about everything, but there are probably things i forgot. mabo tofu doesn't count because it's actually chinese...

Well, it's hard to choose but it lies between sashimi, yakisoba (w/ebi) and various sushi of course.
