As posted in my other thread, I'm looking for a good dojo in Vancouver, close to my house preferably. I've looked on the CKF website, and saw a few prospective ones, but most were out in Steveston and Coquitlam. Does anyone who trains in Vancouver know if there is one on the North Shore? Also, if not, my only prospective choice would be the Vancouver Kendo Club at Renfrew Community Centre, does any1 from here train there? How is the club? Are they accepting new members? What is the fee? (If there is a website about it I missed, please direct me!) Thank-you.

Yeah i train at Vancouver. Unfortunately due to the board members decision we don't train at Renfrew anymore. So for now we're training in North Burnaby which isnt far from renfrew. We're a pretty tight club. I think we're accepting new intakes in March but i'm not sure. Just go to www.vancouverkendoclub.com (http://www.vancouverkendoclub.com) for details and contact Mako for more information. Good luck on your search.

Ok, I have info about the Vancouver Kendo Club now, thank-you, but does anyone know anything about the Renbu Club or Sunrise Club? Their locations seem to be closer for me to get to. I've already checked their pages out on the BCKF website, but it doesn't give much info. Does any1 know more about these clubs? Thanks

They're both fine. I suggest you visit them both, observe a class and then decide which is for you.
