Interesting, thanks. There seem to be a couple of minor errors in an otherwise good article with a lot of info.

One out is the statement:
'1942: The Butokukai comes under control of the military government. ....'

Actually, the old Butokukai disbanded in 1942, and a new one formed that was controlled by the military. An Imperial Army Lieutenant General was the head, and Prime Ministry Tojo Hideki (a kendoka) was the Chairman.
