Hi! I'm a freshmen at Texas A&M University. I recently joined the Kendo Club here around the beginning of the school year. I'm very exited about kendo. I'm currently looking around for my first set of bogu. just though I'd post my first post in here :)

Ask at your dojo; they MAY have a deal with a supplier whereby one achieves a reasonable discount.

OR;
Try 'kendoonline.com' or some such. ... perhaps it is 'onlinekendo.com'...... there are many such suppliers; a little websearching will garner many results.

There's a thread on our very own forums (http://www.kendo-world.com/forum/showthread.php/11737-Bogu-Buying-FAQ) that helped me immensley when I was researching bogu. I still have barely scratched the surface on understanding bogu, but this will help you muddle through the waters for your first set
