I'm new to kendo, and have just purchased a suburito to train at home with. i've noticed a few students at my class have a very smart looking cord/ribbon around the hilt of their bokken, is there instruction anywhere on how do do this?
i have searched the forums on this to no avail, a pointer in the right direction (or a link to some on-line instruction?) would be great.
thanks in advance

i have a nice wrap around the handles of all my suboritos and bokkens. i learned to do it from an article in an old "BLACK BELT" MAGAZINE. unfortunately i don't have the article. but maybe you could try writting to the magazine.

There is an artiocle I found on tsukamaki, this may be a little overkill for a bokken but it seems to describe the process well...
