Now, I love to learn about all the different styles of JSA out there, but this one has me puzzled.

Does anyone recognise which ryuha this (http://martialmuscle.net/petenburt.jpg) is from? What about the bunkai? Or even what the practitioner is thinking at this moment?

:D

Hmm. I think I've used that one when reading the graffiti on the bathroom stall.

Bunkai: ware shows mild surprise at the final position of the saya, but covers by adopting jaunty pose.

This ryu originated at Eton, and developed from the traditional spectators position for watching the Eton Wall Game. Subsequently was exported to the New World where is has taken root. The original uniform of tailcoat and white tie with academic gown has been amalgamated into an elegant black pyjama.

"Where can I buy more patches? Hmmm. Crap. I'm out of toilet paper. Luckily I have this sword tucked under my arm, and can fashion some by slicing a few strips off my gi. I'll have to cut around the patches though."

or possibly thats just unusual place to put a saya

or pehaps "if i pose like this prehaps no one will realise ive just sliced into my hip cos that blade was fecking sharp"

or Don't just stand there, let's get to it, Strike a pose, there's nothing to it VOGUE (apologies to madonna)

I think it is representative of Zoolander Ryu and the kamae is called Steel Poo

- notice the vertical thing between the hakama legs?

Bullshido discussed him (http://www.bullshido.net/forums/showthread.php?t=85020&) but didn't give him the full investigation. If you google him you'll see he also has ticked off the hunting crowd with some really bad how-to videos.

The ryu name translates to something like the ryu of the multipatched gi. The rank in the ryu is denoted by the number of patches and emblems that have been sewn to the gi.

I'm tempted to buy a gi and just cover the entire thing with patches.

Maybe this man is just to poor to buy a new gi every time he stabs himself. And all those patches are just to mend the holes.

Of course it's one of those natural ranking system. All those patche represent hours, days even, of practice.

How many degrees of inner turbulance can one man stand?

Apparently only five.
Five shall be number of degrees of inner turbulances, no more, no less.
Five shall be the number of degrees, and the number of the degrees shall be five.
Six degrees shalt there not be, neither shalt there be Four, excepting that it then proceed to Five.
Seven is just right out.
Once Five, being the fifth degree, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Ninjer-to of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in thy sight, shall snuff it.
