I just received my bogu. I understand most of what I see but I have a few questions. I got two bundles of himo. One is for the men and one for the do. A question is should the do have two bundles ? one set for front and one set for the back? Should I have gotten three bundles from e-bogu?

If you open the do himo bundle you'll find two pairs, one pair shorter and one pair longer. Ask your sensei and sempai to give you hand with getting everything set up, checking the fit, and how to break it in.

Thank's David, it will be some time before I can wear the bogu. I bought it now as the price was good and I had the extra cash on hand. I did it now as after paying for my daughter's wedding next month I might be broke for a while. I have some months to get the himo sorted out.

Thank's David, it will be some time before I can wear the bogu.Bring it to class now and have your instructor examine the fit on you. That way if anything needs to be exchanged you can do it right away. A few months from now would be a bad time to discover a fit problem

Congratulations on the new set.
Which one did you buy?
I would go with the advise above. Take it to class to make sure everything is ok. Your seniors will show you which himo go where.
I got mine on friday
it was good training in it though my shoulder tried reminding my why i stopped
The do fits well and the kote fit...well like a glove
The men is a little large but it means my glasses can fit in so i can semi-see which is good
have fun ghetting blue
