Men Himo

Does anyone have a diagram of how to tie the straps on the Men Himo?

I have just started to wear armour (a club set) and as I have no set at home I don't get to practise. As a result I really struggle and get all flustered and the Sensei has to help me.

I'm okay with the Do and Tare because I can see what I am doing.

I figure if someone has a diagram at least I can study and maybe figure out what to do in theory.

Has anyone been able to download and OPEN this manual? I've tried many times to no avail on both PC and MAC. If anyone has any tips can they send me a PM?

I think that many people , like me , opened the file and found that it's all empty. The reason may be , according to my experience, you did not open the file with a Acrobat Reader WITH JAPANESE PATTERN. You can try again by download the Acrobat Reader with JAPANESE PATTERN and open the file with it ( after installing the tool).

Although the manual were written in English. There are still some Japanese character in it.

Wow.. where are you buying them from ?
10 men himo (standard indigo) from Tozando comes to about $70 (before shipping). And $50 from Kendoshop (again, before shipping and basic model).
