Right foot foward flat on ground (raise it a millimeter or so) Left foot backward, heel up, not to much.
Step foward, then backward, repeat. Don't forget the arms.

Hi,
Have you tried asking your sensei or sempai?

Don't forget that your feet should be about shoulder width (or a little less) apart and your left toes should be even with your right heel before and after the step.

Hehe, I know, but since i'm quebecois, I speak french, and sometimes I have trouble making up sentences. I was in the process of writting it, but stumbled on it and said what the heck, he should know how to do suburi.

Also, remember to move with your toes first
