Just spotted this on there and thought I run it through you guys to see if you find it interesting:

"This is a very rare antique 1930s pure silver Japanese kendo medal that's in the shape of a samurai armor haidate. Not eh gold gilt hawk and kanji. The kanji reads ROKU KEN (short of (6th Kendo). The back reads 2593 (1933) and DAI ROKU KOUTOU GAKKOU KENDO BU (6th High School Kendo Club). Below that it's hallmarked JUNGIN (Pure Silver)."
Are these awarded in Japan to Kendoist, or is it some other sort of WWII item?
