Am I correct to believe that I should be looking at the opponent I´m cutting at the time and after all opponents are dead I should look down at the fallen body of the last opponent while doing chiburi and noto?

What a question!! it would take a lot to explain but I'll have a go.
You should have a wide gaze when you start any waza so you can see as much as possible. Try not to focus directly on one opponent until you are committed to cutting him. The gaze should open up again immediately, then focus on the next opponent, then open, etc, etc. until the final cut is done. At that point it should be a wide gaze - do not stare at your handiwork on the last opponent, he may have a friend you havent spotted yet! Also the sight of blood may upset you... ;-)
Do not relax the gaze until you have finished your waza.
