Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I am Starting Kendo in March (first time begginers class is offered) and just wanted to see how many folks from Northern Virginia where around here.

I went to a kendo club in the midlands UK all a load of dicks
they did not like new comers or is it that they are so closed minded that if you come from another art they dont want you or that they are all suits and flash motorsor is it because that we are students (medical) and are lower life forms or because my back ground is in Karate, I dont know or care now
any way found a Iai class not looked back top class teacher top class guys top class

Are you reffering to the United Kingdom? If so I am sorry you had a bad experience, but I am from the US.
