In describing the temper line on a sword blade, gunome means, iirc, a type of regular or irregular zig-zag patterning. What it refers to on a bogu I don't know, but I'm guessing it might be to do with either a stitching pattern or mune decoration (????).

Gunome means bogu with more than one width of stitching. The set shown has 4 mm in some places and 2 mm in others. Most better sets do this, whereas cheaper sets have the same width of stitching all over.
