Looking at other threads and seeing people talking about how well their bogu fits I started wondering just what do they mean by "Fit". Particularly the Men.
How should it feel when it fits correctly? Should you feel the padding all the way around your face or just chin and top of forehead? Should there be space at the top or no space?
Thanks in advance

If you feel the padding all around your face you'd better buy a bigger men. Only your chin and forehead should be in contact with your men (like u said before)

You kind of talk like you have never worn a men.
There is a pad for the forehead, a cup-area for the chin, an oval piece of cloth that wraps around the face along the contour of the mengane and there is the major piece of padding that goes from the side of your head, over the top, and down the other side of the head.
Depending on the shape of your face and how your men is designed will affect what parts of your head will be in contact with the men.
For me, my forehead barely touched the forehead padding. The upper sides of my head press securely to the uchiwa. My chin is securely seated in the chin area. The top of my head touches the top of the men. It fits just right but I don't have enough space to insert a men padding on the top. I tie my himo in Kanto-style. I cross the himo behind my head under this bump on the back of my head. The sides of the men are tight against my ears. But since I tie it tight, it doesn't move around so there is no friction. It's not comfortable like a motorcycle helmet. If you have tied your men on securely, you should feel it pressing everywhere on your head.

I have but wasn't sure if the fit was correct.

With mine there might be just enough room to fit as men pad. Maybe.
Otherwise it sounds like it fits pretty much the same as yours.
Thanks for the reply.
