You may want to have a look here:

http://bokkenshop.com/eng/index.html

They have high quality bokken but you can also find bokken for everyday practice for a reasonable price.

http://kendoshop.com/eshop/index.php?mode=sub&catedb=5

They have cheap bokken and also a very beautiful collectors item.

It all depends on how much you are willing to pay...;-)

On the assumption that you are buying a bokken for training purposes and not just for show, I would discourage you in the very strongest terms from buying a cheap black bokken. As litige says cheap ones are usually painted, or lacquered.

When performing kendo kata, this cheap paint/lacquer will rub off and stain your partner's bokken. The effect is even worse if said bokken is of a light colour, like Japanese white oak. Moreoever, as and when your bokken starts to chip from repeated practices, the look of cheap flaking paint/lacquer will make it look terrible.

So once again, please, if you're planning on using the bokken for practice, stay away from cheap black ones. If, however, you're using it solely for show feel free to disregard this post.
