I'm going to school in Maryville, Missouri an looking for the closest Kendo dojo. So far, I have only been able to find one that is 2 hours away in Omaha, but maybe someone knowns of a closer location. Thanks.

You could try this site - www.midwestkendo.com (http://www.midwestkendo.com) - they list a lot of clubs in your sort of area, i think there are Iowa clubs at least on there!

Most of those are in Illinois, Wisconsin, or Michigan, but thank you for the suggestion.
