The Regular Dye Question (but for a Shinai Bag)

Hey all !
I just received a shinai bag from e-bogu yesterday, made from keikogi material... this one (http://store.yahoo.com/kendobogu/newkeikmatsh.html)

Well since i'm new to kendo i dind't have in mind that this would also !@$$# bleed...
So i put it with about 500gr of salt in my bath tub, and is still bleed like hall, maybe even more than when dry. Right now it's my drier (yes you heard quite correctly :wink: ) but i fear that it will still bleed...

What should I do ? I don't want it to stink vinegar that's all !

Since you sweat a lot in your shinai bag, you must defenitly use vinegar :-P

AFter 1h30 in the drier it bleeds A LOT LESS (yeehaw english grammar) but still a tiny bit... guess i'll repeat the process some other time !

I don't understand. If you are just using it as a shinai bag why is it bleeding so much? I imagine there would be some dye rubbing off, but as long as you don't go swimming with it you should be fine. ...Right?

but if he holds the shinai bag or hangs it over his shoulder the blue dye might rub onto his clothes...

I just dont understand this problem of bleeding items that have been indigo dyed.
Some years ago in (my youth) all levi style jeans leaked dye when first washed, but companies solved the problems. So why oh why do we still have to buy clothing that leaks dye on everything.

I would love a solution to this problem, and an answer from the makers.

There are pre-washed Hakama and Gi available from Japan but they're very expensive. I think the whole thing boils down to price and quantity as well as traditionalist who still seek to be blue.
