Love my Shinai from E-mudo...

Hey I got this practice shinai from E-mudo few weeks ago. Shinai name is called Mudo(budo in Japanese). It has thick grip and well balanced. Love it and recommend it. I ordered 5 more for our students.

They have a nice thick shinai, with a smoked finish and small holes where the left hand grip is at. I started with the thick grip since a have large hands but prefer the oval since it keeps my hands in the correct position and gives you the sense of a real sword, parrying is a little easier as well.

I have medium size hands and loved my last thick grip shinai from e-mudo.com
It made my hands feel comfortable, but I have found that they interfere with my tenouchi, so I switched back to regular shinai.

E-mudo has some good shinai.

I really like the emudo basic shinai as far as weight and balance go, but we've definitely had some issues with dirability.
