Thanks for the update. I just searched for it and it's not showing up. I only see the 5.3 issue which I already have.

Okay...hmmm... I think the boys are about to switch the setting on, so it won't be long. Sorry about the wrong info.

Kindle version of 5.4 is up in the Amazon store now. Note there is a new Amazon web app that enables you to get around the iTunes issue where you couldn't install the app due to Apple's zoning controls. Go here: http://read.amazon.com/ Let us know in the comments if you have any issues with this issue.

I finally found how to download it directly on my iPhone... For some reason I couldn't purchase it directly through the Amazon app for the phone (I found the issue in the search but I could only add it to my "wishlist").
I only managed to download it after following the link from Alex Bennett's Twitter feed. No idea why...

The format of the magazine doesn't permit underlining or adding annotations in the Kindle format. Any way to change that? Otherwise excellent, I have purchased both and they are a great resource to have available on an as needed basis.

Is there a chance that the older issues will be available for download? It would be a great chance for people to fill out their collections.

The older editions will be come available eventually, but there is an awful lot of work starting from scratch to make them Kindle compatible. So, it will only happen when we manage to get time to work on them. As for underlining and adding annotations, I will have to talk to the tech-heads about that.

Theodore, what app are you using to try and add the annotations? If it's the new HTML5 app, that is a known problem with the app itself, not the magazine. I don't even think there is an option to control that from our side.

Kindle app for iPad (1). Will download to my regular kindle when I get home and see if it works there. Didn't have any trouble with same app annotating Pressfield's Gates of Fire.
I will report tomorrow.

Update: I used my Kindle app for PC on my office computer - Windows XP - and all features work fine, including highlighting and annotations. Don't have a Mac but not working on my iPad.

Hi, Great work on the Kindle version! Am looking forward to getting the new editions on my iPad. Just wondering though whether current print subscribers can access the Kindle version for free, or do we need to buy it separately through Amazon?Cheers,
Alex

Hi Mike,That is a good question, and we have thought long and hard about how to deal with that very issue. In a nutshell we have decided to keep the printed version and the Kindle version as seperate entities. There are various reasons for this, the main one being logistics. We hope for your understanding and continued support. BTW 5.2 is almost ready to be uploaded.
