I wonder why the jews are all making a fuzz about the movie Passion.
Did some one actually got anti-german after ALL those ww2 movies, personnaly I don't hate them now, they have change, a lot like the jewish did (well I hope so) so why would they be angry??

The Jews used to be blamed for the death of Christ until (I forgot when but recently) the Catholic church said "Well, it really wasn't the Jews it was the Romans". I think the Jews are afraid of the whole "Christ killer" BS being started up again because of Mel's crappy movie.
Personally I find it is rediculous for two reasons: 1) Jesus was a Jew and 2) His message was about love, forgiveness, and sacrifice
However these things are not very appealing, so we need ultra-violence and Mel's name to get people "keen on Jesus". I think if I were a Christian I would be quite offended by his exploitation of the death of Christ.
[I don't really understand the other stuff you wrote]

Just to add to what xvikingx said. The Catholic Church officially "forgave" the jews in the 60s during the Vatican II reformation.

I have to disagree; being Christian shouldn't make you responsible for what Cortez did to the Aztecs (for example). That responsibility lies with the Spanish. Just like I wouldn't expect Muslims to appologize to me for terrorist attacks on my country, al-Queda is too blame for that not other innocent Muslims (like, let's say, oh I don't know... Iraqis).

Representations of the Passion, such as gospel and plays, were reasonings (or, more appropriately, excuses) for alot of Nazi ideaology. The whole deicide thing is only one of many sources of anti-Semitism.

Well that was my point viking , I dont think anybody could say sorry for somthing that they had no part in , You cant hold todays jews / muslims / christians responsible for somthing that happend 500 years ago , and you cant hold muslims responsible for what happend 9/11 ,
On another note , i think its stupid that the church thinks it has power to forgive someone ( jews ) for what happend back in 0037 ( or about then)
