View Full Version : unnecessary rudeness on the forum

I have had a bit of rudeness directed at me, for what reason I`m not really sure. I would have ignored it but a certain member wrote his dribble on my public visitors page for all to see, so I thought I`d write about it.

It all started with a post (#7) I made in thread a few months back. I feel the advise given was and still is good.
http://www.kendo-world.com/forum/showthread.php/24907-Soft-men-and-head-injuries?p=442722#post442722

Well said member didn`t like my post and bad rep`ed me. Thats fine, but the comment he made with the bad rep
had nothing to do with my post, and seemed very idiotic.

said member wrote
"Advising a person with persistent head pain from men strikes to keep practicing isn't nice. It's horrible advice, and imagine if he followed it? I'll stick with advice that values health over politeness."

nowhere did I say keep training. nor do I think what I wrote was horrible in anyway. So I bad rep`ed him back,
stating that I never said any such thing. (nor was my language rude in any way.)

So said member then decides to write some crass on my visitors page for all to see, maybe a PM would have been
better.

"Hey, I just thought I'd write random shit on your profile from posts three months ago. You know, returning your favour.

To answer your question, at no point in your post did you advise him to see a physician. Having pain from men strikes that lasts through the night and continues into the morning is NOT normal, and is not a "posture problem". Like I said, though, thanks for dredging this all up again"

granted a couple of months had passed before I bad rep`ed him. but I only just saw it the other day, and couldn`t understand why he wrote that comment??

No I didn`t advise him to see a doctor. did I have to? It had allready been said. (post #3 toecutter) no need to repeat everything.

he didnt advise him to see a doctor either. CONTRADICTION.

his posture problem comment, if he read my post carefully, I was refering to what was mentioned in post #3.

What was said members great advise
"If you feel your men is old and soft (iow, deficient) get a new one. It's your head, and you sorta need it. Don't have the money, my ass. I bet you have money for beer. "

wonderful words of wisdom but in reality not an once of advice there at all. get a new men, not telling him to stop or
see a doctor. but kind of encouraging him to keep training in a way. CONTRADICTION

I have never writen anything on his visitors page for all to see. CONTRADICTION. I believe rep messages are private.

Where did you say that??? not a posture problem, might not be but could have been if the OP tended to lean forward.
we will never know what the problem was.

I only offered certain POSSIBILITIES. nowhere did I write is,isn`t or state that it was anything definate,
just possible problems.

This post is not intended as revenge or payback, but I hope any that read that message on my visitors page
will take it with a grain of salt.

Hey Gilligan, you can just complain to a moderator about me directly. I'm really not certain why you decided two days ago to resurrect a three month dead discussion by giving me negative rep. But "random shit" ooh. I hope you do not suffer lifelong emotional scars from that.

Also, man up. "A certain member wrote on my profile"... as if that's not the same as naming me.

You can use the ignore button. You can also delete visitor messages, i guess not knowing that is the reason for this thread since the OP's not keeping the flame show going.
