Moorpark (about 40 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles), California to be exact. The instructor dude's, like, 15 dan in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu. How can you go wrong?!

At least he's actually been training with someone for quite a long time. If you're going to make fun of ninjas in California, there are easier targets. How about the this one? ninjagym (http://www.ninjagym.com)
Or there's always Frank Dux ... Ducks ryu ninjutsu (http://www.frankdux.net/)

Ninjas are totally sweet. When I used to look at ninja books as a kid, I was mostly interested in the stealth aspects, but I would be curious as to how much that portion of the curiculm was stressed.
Anyone ever see the documentry with Steven Hayes where he is tasked to get into some building? The producers are expecting awesome ninjery with scaling walls under the cover of darkness and stuff. All Hayes does is just say that he is part of the film crew which is on site and gains access that way.

I think some of the Gracies have adopted the model set forth in ninjagym. You download videos, and upload videos for promotional purposes. Its actually not a bad distance learning model provided you have opportunities to train in person. Having regularly flown across the world to train with one particular teacher, it would have been a nice way for supplemental corrections/feedback.
Of course, it could be impelmented for money making purposes too...

However, I've never heard the Gracies tell the world that they were teaching people how to be ninjas. :)

Well Kyra Gracie did compete on kunoichi, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2e9Cx223IsQ) so the Gracies must be doing ninjery somewhere!

I was a student at USC once upon a time (for about two semesters before I dropped out because I hated it there) and a friend fell in love with the Dux Ryu people and their club there. He took me to a class once and I bowed in with a standard Wushu salute thing (fist and palm) as a habit. I was told that in Japan this meant I had challenged the 'sensei' to a death match. At that point I was certain they were clowns. Then I saw a student kidney punched from behind three times until he collapsed. It was then that I knew they were sadistic clowns.

If it swims like a Dux, and quacks like a Dux, it must be a Dux
