Just a thought, I enjoy the site and log on most days just for a quick look. The most asked questions seem to be over equipment. Like were can I buy a new sword/Hakama what size this, that, colour should I buy etc.

They appear all over the site, in inappropriate threads I feel. Would it be worth having another new thread just on the above?

I think Heijo Shin is right. Maybe it would make it easier for newbs to access information. Espeacially lazy people who dont want to search the forums.

Umm, that's what the 'Bogu etc. (for any kendo equipment other than shinai and bokuto)' section is all about. The 'similar threads' section at the bottom of the page should help somewhat, too.

There's a limit to how much of my time I'm willing to spend re-sorting posts and threads to help people who don't want to spend their own doing something basic like a simple search of the forums.
