Let me try this again, my first attempt failed.
I am 230 lbs, and I am looking at the Bogu gear at < www.e-bogu.com >. It appears that I might need extra large. Is anyone else here a huge monster like me? Is the Tare a one size fits all item? Do you think that I would need to get the 64 bamboo Do? Are there any monsters out there that have had problems with Kendo Bogu's. What is your advice.

 I just purchased my bogu from eguchi usa. I am 6'6" and had no problems. The tare is measured to fit around your waist, and can also come in longer sizes. E-bogu told me that they would just have to order the lager parts from japan. As for the do i had to get a bamboo do not because of my width but because of my height. E-bogu told me that they would be able to oder the larger sizes. Now you should know that there are slight upcharges of like $100. I saw e-bogus bogu and think that it is very good. If e-bogu cant help you out there is always eguchi. Thay hav the best customer service in the world.

Thanks for the link. I already like Eguchi, because it looks like you can send all your measurements, and they will make sure that the Bogu is appropriate size.

You send all your measurements to any reputable bogu company. eguchi, e-bogu or bogubag could all help you out.

First off, most people don't refer to themselves as a monster, or oni for the nihonjin. It's wrong. Stop watching anime.
Second, contact a bogu store, give them your measurements and they will give you their options.
