hi!
have you tried checking this website: http://www.auskf.info/mainpages/schools.htm ?
it looks like there are at least two kendo dojos in West Virginia, though i've no idea where martinsburg is.
good luck!

sure thing! :)
i had nothing better to do, so i looked up where martinsburg is -- seems to be in a corner, although the oldest corner of the state. you might want to consider a neighboring state for a near-by dojo. just hope you don't get busted for crossing state lines with a shinai

i'm in Huntington, WV and i travel to Portsmouth OH (about 45 mins) but ... you might try around Virginia Tech. i know there is a dojo somewhere in Blacksburg maybe two. there might be one affiliated with VT. there is also one near fairmont. affiliated with SalemTeikyo Uni. i think they changed the name of that uni though. good luck.

There is a group at Salem Teikyo University which I think is now called Teikyo International University in Salem, West Virginia which is close to Clarksburg. It is part of the ECUSKF and I think Kono Sensei is there. Martinsburg is progbably closer to the Washington DC area. You should explore the DC area and may find something closer to you. Good Luck.
