I realize this is a late reply but just incase other people might be interested in buying naginata equipment in Paris heres some info...

you can get naginata equipment in Nippon budo but that place is expensive,I would try haggling the prices down if I were you.....,there is a shop called Judogi that caters to a variety of martial arts equipment even kendo and naginata, but the choice of equipment for naginata is limited....but definitely cheaper than Nippon budo. Also you could go to Budo Store, they cater to a variety of martial arts equipment as well,I saw some naginata gear there before also. Addresses of stores mentioned above, in Paris,France - 1.) Nippon Budo - 3 Rue Edmont Godinet 75013 Paris 2.) Budo Store - 34 Rue de la Montagne St. Genevieve 75005 Paris. On Judogi I forgot the exact address...but its near BUDO XI kendo club just ask the people there,if you want. Lastly,if you find kendo shops in Paris, they usually have some naginata equipment for sale too,but very limited in choice, thats actually the case for Nippon Budo because it is really a kendo shop.....well,hopefully that helps!

Yeah I know but It usally cost loads in the end with all the shipping and taxes.

The thing is my mother (who knows nothing of budo) is going to spend a week in Paris so I'm basically looking for a store I can presuade her to go to and buy a new naginata gi for me :bandit:

i would check the difference between internet and the shop prices, and try to make them lower their price.

the kendo shop near my house is really expensive as well, except for the shinai's and bokken. i think i'll be buying from the internet anyway (saving something close to 20 percent).

You will find Naginata Gi a A.C.E 141 av Paris 94800 VILLEJUIF (very near Paris), but my favourites Naginata Gi are E-Budo ones. They have affiliates in Europe. You can contact germany@e-bogu.com (http://www.laposte.net/cgi-bin/webmail.fcgi?Act_V_Compo=1&mailto=germany@e-bogu.com&ID=Ihd0qAQYsR5ILQ8Ix7RoOf2g5j06zCt4BjowVLkw8hdgxfO AlJxo&R_Folder=QXJjaGl2ZXM=&msgID=10&Body=0) and have them without expensive taxes and fees since it's European Union. I recommend.
