Whats on in July / August around Tokyo

Hi all, after seeing some really helpful info for a different time, I am encoraged to ask if anyone knows of any kendo related events to be held in or around Tokyo, during July and August that I could visit.

Also some guidance toward some good bogu shops would be helpful.

If you're in Tokyo try not to miss the monthly godogeikokai at the Budokan. The new dates are always updated monthly on the Zen Nippon Kendo Renmei site. Be sure to check if your stay lands on a day when there is open keiko. This info is only in Japanese however.
